The Newark Arts Alliance is an absolute treasure in the heart of Newark, Delaware.

The Newark Arts Alliance hosts classes and events from poetry to jam sessions to figure drawing to watercolor to alcohol ink to belly dancing to kids camp imagine & more! The gift shop allows local artists to display and sell their art and craft at very reasonable rates and the gallery rotates between juried, group and individual shows. At any given time artwork from Silver Sand Studio may be in their gallery or sales shop. There is a very “grass roots” and inclusive feel with community involvement and inclusiveness and a fabulous mix of artists of various ranges, community members, volunteers, families and individuals.
